Coming up this month JULY 26-30, 2021 You can book your Senior Studio Mini Session!

At the studio we have a variety of set's inside the studio to create a one of kind look as well has a variety of backdrops outside at the studio.   We have a beautiful barn door look, old car, open fields, big beautiful porches, columns, and lights.   We love to create a custom experience for each Senior!  This is your year to shine and to capture you just the way you are right now in this time of your life.

• 1 hour photo session

• online private gallery
• 1 - 5x7 custom digital grad announcement (you can then print with us or any lab of your choice)

Cost:  $250 +tax

$50 is due at booking and the balance is due at your session.

Cap & Gown Mini Sessions | Venus Texas Portrait Photographer

To celebrate our little and big graduates for 2020 we are offering an awesome mini session here at the studio.  Each session will be a 15 minute session to photograph your cap & gown portraits.  You will need to bring your cap & gown with you to the session.

We have scroll's here at the studio to use as props.  We will have a gray background and a cream background set up for these.  You can choose which look you prefer for your portraits.

For our preschool/kinder clients we will have our chalkboard for their "when I grow up" portrait too.

Cap & Gown Mini's are scheduled for JUNE 8 & JUNE 9, 2020

Maddie Class of 2019 | Venus Texas Senior Photographer

I am excited to finally have time to share this beautiful and fun Senior Session that I had a few weeks ago.  I also want to wish Maddie the best as she graduates from High School and heads out for a bright new journey!

Maddie's session started out at the studio and we had fun capturing cap and gown photos, prom dress and a casual look.   Loved using the fan during this part of our session and getting to know Maddie a little bit.

Then we headed into downtown Maypearl to capture some fun rustic outdoor portraits of her.  This part of the session was just before sunset, so we were able to capture some of the downtown lights and play with our lighting too.  Love all the different looks that I was able to capture of her.

It's your time... Class of 2014_North Texas Senior Photographer

Oh Yea!! It's SUMMER time!  and that means we have a brand new set of High School Seniors who are about to embark on a brand new journey... The Senior YEAR of High School.   Class of 2014 we would love to hear from you this summer.  NOW is the perfect time to get your Senior Photo Shoot scheduled and have an amazing day of capturing you just as your are right now in high school.    Our Senior Photo Session is just $99 however, if you book by AUGUST 1st you can SAVE 40% off your session fee.  WOWeee - that's a great deal right there.  So don't delay... Each senior photo session takes around 2 to 2.5 hours and at a location of your choice.  You can choose to have your session here in our studio and have indoor and outdoor portraits taken.  Here at the studio we have a beautiful country field with an old 1948 plymouth that makes for a wonderful setting for photos.  Plus.. we have some of the most amazing sunsets, should you choose to have your session close to evening time.  If you select a location we look for a variety of backdrops and angles to create the most unique session and to give you as many different looks that we can.  Oh and we will grab a few instagram photos during your session too.  I love instagram and am sure you do too.

After your session is complete you will return to the studio with your parents for your view & order appointment.  At this time we show you an awesome video of your entire senior session starring who else but YOU.  Then we go through your images two at a time and help you select your favorites.  This is a time when you and your family can check out products that are avaialable, consider designing a special canvas, metal art or graduation annoucement.  The possibilities are endless.  There is NO pressure in the sales room; we are simply here to help you and your family get the images that you need & want.   No minimum orders required :)

Following your view & order appointment we will get all your images ordered, feature you on our studio blog and create a facebook album that you can then share with friends & family via social media.  We simply ask that you continue to share photo credit and to not crop out our studio logo.

HOW CAN YOU SPREAD THE WORD?

The more you promote Specialty Photography on your social network sites like facebook/twitter, the better!  We will be posting images throughout the year of you via facebook, twitter and our studio blog.  Make a photo album on your facebook page and share these images too and use them as your profile photo from time to time.  Talk about your experiences with Specialty Photography and what you loved about your session as well as your images.  The key is to SHARE! SHARE! SHARE!

DJ & Cari | Class of 2013 | Venus, Tx Senior Photographer

Hi Sp Friends -

Today I am excited to share a few highlights with you all from a Double Senior Photo Shoot that we had not too long ago of DJ and Cari.  They both just graduated from Allen High School Friday night.  So first and foremost I want to say a BIG Congratulations to them both.  I know they  had a blast celebrating such a big accomplishment with friends & family.

I met DJ and Cari and their parents for the first time in person on the day of their photo session, we hit it off right from the start.  I had been talking with Mom via email and text messages and finally we had a time that we could all get together and you know we simply all hit it off, it's like we have known them for years.  Such great people and an amazing family.  My hubby and I totally had a blast hanging out with them and getting to know a little bit more about their family.

DJ won the 800M this year with a time of 1:56:63 and he is looking at several colleges and considering all his options.  Plus his name is going up on the record charts at Allen High School track field.    Cari was apart of the Allen High School varsity football team which won the State Championship and he has an amazing ring to showoff.   Both of these young men are involved in their school, involved in athletics and have an amazing future ahead of them.  It is an exciting time to see what lies ahead for each of them on their new journey.

Jennifer | Class of 2014 | Venus, Texas Senior Photographer

Hi SP Friends...

I am super excited to share Jennifer with all of you today.  Jennifer is one of our 2014 SP Street Team members {aka SP Senior Model}; so you will be seeing quite a bit of her in our Senior Marketing.  Jennifer attends Venus High School {yea for a hometown girl} and is actively involved in Community Service, Church and eager to make a difference in the world she lives in.  I love her zest for life and have truly enjoyed learning about her dreams and goals following high school.  She is one determined young lady who is going to do great things.  She currently has served over 500 hours in community service!  Can you say WOWWW!  That is so awesome :)

Jennifer is the president of a community service organization at Venus High School called Key Club and she just recently got inducted as the Lieutenant Governor of the organization; which means she not only serves here in her own community, but she also works with 10 other clubs at local area high schools.  I know she is going to do a fantastic job continuing to serve the community during her senior year.

We started Jennifer's Photo Shoot here at the studio and then we headed up to Venus for the rest of her session.  She wanted to incorporate her school, her community, and her style into her session.  I think she did a fabulous job with selecting her outfits for her shoot, to capture her just as she is today and all that is important to her.

What are your plans after high school:  Attend Amherst College in Amherst, Massachusetts to major in Math and have a double minor in Biology & Spanish.  From there I want to attend MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) for a Masters Degree in Bio-Medical Engineering.

Melinda | Class of 2013 | Venus, Texas Senior Photographer

Hi SP Friends...

Let me introduce you all to Melinda Serrato; a Senior at Waxahachie High School.  She is excited and looking forward to her graduation in June of this year.  I met up with Melinda and her mom Margarita just a few days ago for her Senior Photo Shoot.  We decided to meet in Waxahachie and hit the town to create a unique one of kind session just to showcase Melinda and her personality.  If you know Waxahachie at all you know that on any given day you will find photographers and clients all around shooting, having fun and creating priceless images and our day together was no different.  In fact, we had to scurry around looking for alley ways that were not already in use, thank goodness I have a ton of locations that I love shooting in Waxahachie.  We enjoyed a beautiful spring afternoon capturing amazing images of one beautiful young lady.    I truly loved getting to know Melinda and her mom and we simply had the best time hanging out, laughing and enjoying a beautiful afternoon.  Seniors are always so much fun to photograph, it's always such an exciting time in their lives and they are all so creative and up for just about anything during their shoot.

Awesome NEW products at SP {North Texas Portrait Photographer}

Hi SP Friends...

I am always on the look out for unique new items that enable us to produce amazing portrait art for you our clients and OH I have to say that these two are amazing.  These two may not be huge in size, but the artistic look and design of each one paired with your images is sure to make a lasting impression in any room.

Our new 5x7 Gallery Stands are photographically printed on Metallic Paper and then laminated over a solid wood construction and then paired with an easel back.  Each one is delivered complete and ready for display.  I will be custom designing each one that is ordered.  You have endless options with these adorable Gallery Stands, you can match a custom Canvas Wall Gallery or even your custom announcements.  Plus... they work for any event that you are celebrating,  the birth of a baby, the excitement of the grad or the romance of true love.



 

Our second new product is the "Photo Cube"  Each cube is created by 4 custom designs all joined together to create an adorable little cube.  These are 4x4 and are stackable, so you decide just how many you want to use to create your own one of kind photo display in your home.  These adorable little cubes are made out of the same materials as the 5x7 Gallery Stands and are easly cleaned off with a soft damp cloth.   



 

I will have many new samples coming into the studio over the next couple of months, so be sure and check them all out on your next visit in.   In a week and half my Mom (Anna) and I are heading to Imaging USA and I know that I am sure to find a few more amazing ways to display the ones you love in your home and office.  Be sure and check back, I will be doing blog post on Imaging USA towards the end of January.

On Location with Cheyanne | Model 2013

Hey SP Friends...

You may remember Cheyanne from a blog post that I shared at the beginning of summer when we photographed part 1 of her Senior Portraits.   Recently we met up at one of my favorite loations {Trinity Park} to photograph Cheyanne's ON LOCATION senior portraits.  She now has a fabulous collection of images to create treasured keepsakes from and to help her celebrate this incredible accomplishment in her life... Meet Kaylee - Class of 2012

Kaylee will be graduating from Maypearl High School here is just a few more weeks.  You may recognize Kaylee as she has been featured on our blog in the past, we did her Senior Photo shoot in the studio several months ago.   If not, feel free to check out that blog post here

This past week we got together with Kaylee and her family to photograph her in her Cap & Gown session.   We met up at a local park and the day was simply gorgeous outside.  The sun was bright and coming through the tree's with amazing light.  The wind was blowing and giving a cool breeze which made the afternoon awesome.   Kaylee wore an adorable gray and black dress with awesome shoes that blended so well with her Red cap & gown.  I love that she brought her own unique style with her to give her cap and gown session that extra touch and flair that is totally her.  She rocked it and looked amazing!!
