Meet Mia | Venus Texas Newborn Photographer

This little beauty came to the studio for her first photo shoot with Mommy & Daddy at just under 1 month new.  What a bundle of joy!  I love her little cheeks and all of her gorgeous hair!

Mia loved being swaddled, so we had the best time getting her all snuggled up in each and every set.   Which is perfect for these little newborns who are a little bit older.    Mia did amazing during her first ever professional photo shoot :)

Here are just a few of my favorites...

The photos featuring the red and black blanket is an item that Mom & Dad brought to the session.  You see Mia's daddy loves to ride motorcycles and this blanket is a riding blanket that goes with him on his bike when he rides.   What an amazing item for them to share during their daughter's newborn shoot.  Love how I was able to use this throughout the session.

Meet Ava | Venus Texas Newborn Photographer

 Good Morning you guys!  Here is to a brand new week!  I hope you all have a fantastic one :)  Today I want you all to meet this adorable little one Ava Rose.  She did amazing during her very first photo shoot. It is hard being a little model but oh so worth it!   Ava visited us at one month old and yes I was still able to capture some beautiful newborn portraits for her family.  Even if you miss the two week window of time (for optimal newborn portraits) it is still good to go ahead and capture these adorable moments.  They grow so quickly and change so quickly, you will always be glad you took the time to capture these moments.

Meet Mathias | Venus Texas Newborn Photographer

 

Oh my goodness!  This little guys is  so very cute!  Love his hair.  Little Mathias was just 11 days new at his newborn session and he did amazing!

Meet Elowyn | Venus Texas Newborn Photographer

Meet little Elowyn and her big sister Evie!   They are absolutely precious little girls.  At just 7 days new Elowyn did amazing and cuddled right up in all of her newborn sets.  Big Sister Evie wasn't too sure about taking photos at first, but she did amazing too and we have priceless images from the session.   These truly grow in value as time marches on.  I tell my clients all the time, you will be so so glad you took the time to get these images.  They will never be this little again.

Meet Olivia | Venus Texas Newborn Photographer

Little Olivia came to see us and she brought along her precious family, when she was just a couple of weeks new.  We had such a beautiful session with her and her big sister,  mommy & daddy.  Olivia slept for most of her session and cuddled up in each little set.   

I love that we get to capture the first family photo and sibling photos with this new little addition to the family.  These are indeed priceless moments, that are worth the time, and will be a treasure for a lifetime.  Can you say family heirlooms?!!  Yes, they grow in value over time, as these little ones do not stay this little for very long at all.

Baby on the way {North Texas Newborn Photographer}

Today's post is extra special because I get to share with you all that my grand baby is on it's way.  YEA!!!  Our son and precious daughter - in - law are expecting and this MIMSY (my grandma name, which I totally LOVE) is super duper excited!

We recently got together one evening and had a fun little photo shoot so that they could share the big news with all their friends and family in a fun way.  We had a blast and I love the way the session turned out and what sweet memories we have to cherish.

Here are few of the highlights...

 Whoop!!! We are all so excited that #2 is on it's way!

 Baby "C" is because they are naming the baby with a "C" name; since they have an A, B & D in the family already.  Cute :)

Which one will it be?!!  BOY or GIRL?!!  Jesus knows and I will LOVE this child and have so much fun boy or girl.  Can NOT wait!!!

Meet sweet little Landry {North Texas Newborn Photographer}

I am so delighted to be able to share this little cutie pie with you guys.  Meet Landry!  She was just 14 days new when she came into the studio with her mommy & daddy for her very first photo shoot.  She was a little rock star too :)  It did take a little work to get her to sleep, because she simply did not want to miss a thing!  So, we made the best of it and got beautiful images of her with eyes wide open and of course those adorable little sleeping images.   Simply love her dark hair, long fingers & toes - so cute!!

This family is just a little extra special to me, you see I have known Landry's daddy since he was about 5.  Aaron (Landry's daddy) is the son of our very good friends  (the Cochran's) and our children all use to play together, go to mother's day out together & church together.  So, it has been neat to watch them all grow up and now to have families of their own.    However, I am not too sure I like me getting older lol :)  I have enjoyed getting to know Lynae (Landry's mommy) also and I look forward to getting to know her even more during this year as we capture Landry's growth through out the year.
