Meet Lawson 24 days new {North Texas Newborn Photographer}

Hi SP Friends...

Today I would love for you to meet sweet Little Lawson.  When his mommy brought him into the studio for his newborn photo shoot he was just 24 days new.   So perfect, new and cuddly.   You see, Lawson's newborn shoot was orgianally planned to take place on September 24th, but he decided to arrive a little early and ended up spending a little extra time in the nicu; so we waited for just the perfect time to get him into the studio for his first photo shoot.    He is home now, healthy and beautiful and simply perfect.  I know his mommy, daddy & big brothers are sure glad to have him at home.

We loved having Lawson in the studio and yes I say that I all the time; but I truly do love what I do and I love these precious little babies.  I am truly honored when a family selects me to capture these first photos and trust me with their precious newborn baby.  Lawson was a true champ during his photo shoot.  Once he ate and had his cuddle time he went right to sleep and slept just about the entire session.

Kaitlyn 10 days new {North Texas Newborn Photographer}

Hi SP Friends...

Today I am thrilled to be able to finally share little Kaitlyn's Newborn session with you all.  This time we included Mommy, Daddy and Kaitlyn's big brother's into the session as well.  Usually our newborn sessions are focused on the new little blessing and capturing all their amazing features just as God created them to be.  We did that this time too, but I love the mix of family in with our newborn session.  Little Kaitlyn was a pro during her very first photo shoot.  She slept pretty much the entire session and did not mind us wrapping her, cuddling her, curling her up, etc.  she just rolled with the flow.  She took a few little breaks to cuddle with mom and to eat, but other than that she was ready to be that star of the show.   This family is so very sweet and special to me, you see I have known Justin (the Daddy and his family for years)  in fact, JP as I call him, has been a friend of my son's for years now .  It is so very cool to see all of these children that I watched grow up to now have precious families of their own.  I count it pure joy and a complete honor to be trusted to capture such special moments.

I Design Baby Collage {Venus, Texas Newborn Photographer}

Hi my friends...

Today I have another new product that is sure to excite all of our expecting momma's.   Our I Design Baby Collage is a  unique and fun way for you to create your own one of kind Heirloom Keepsake that you are sure to enjoy for all time.



Isn't that adorable?!!  Now for the fun part... designing your very own I Design Baby Collage.  The first step is to select your layout design and select the photos {this is all done with my help at your view & order} however, if you have already had your view & order and you want to order one, we can design this via your online gallery.



The second step is to select the colors for your collage.   One tip would be to pick colors that blend well with the images you select and/or go with your nursery colors.  The choice is up to you.



The third step in designing your collage is to select the fun shapes that can add a nice little touch to complete the entire look of your design.



The final step is to select your size.  These fit perfectly on a 12x12, 20x20, 24x24, 30x30, 40x40.  Each I Design Baby Collage can be printed and mounted on art board for long preservation of your design.  You can then frame the image and hang on the wall or you can prop it up on an iron easel for another fantastic display.  You can also choose to print these on a Canvas Gallery Wrap as well, which would come to you ready to hang on the wall.

Little Tuff Ryder {North Texas Newborn Photographer}

Hi SP Friends...

Meet Little Tuff Ryder, he was just 18 days new when his mommy and daddy (Ryan & Sarah) brought him into the studio for his newborn photo session and he was the sweetest little angel!  Simply precious,  Anna and I both enjoyed holding him and getting to cuddle this sweet little guy.   We absolutely love getting to capture such an amazing time for each newborn that we work with.  They will begin to grow, stretch out and their little features begin to change so quickly.  This is indeed a moment in time that you never get back again and it is such a privilege and honor to be able to capture these adorable new little features.

Tuff was such a little trooper throughout his photo shoot.   Though he really wanted to stay awake and check everything out, he finally caved in and went fast to sleep and never even knew we were wrapping him up and moving him from set to set.

Newborn Safety {North Texas Portrait Photographer}

Hi SP Friends...

I know that you guys see a lot of newborn portraits around on facebook, pinterest, and other social media sites.  So, I thought I would take a little time out to share our view on Newborn Safety here at SP.  I consider it a privilege to work with you and to capture this amazing new life that you have been entrusted too.  Therefore, it is of utmost importance that everything we do here at the studio is for your newborns safety and protection.  We take every precaution for safety.

Our techniques will NEVER compromise the safety and well-being of your sweet little baby.  You are always welcome to be present and to see what is happening in the studio at all times.     While we do create amazing art with your little newborn being the center of attention we take great pride in creating a SAFE environment for you and your newborn.

• We NEVER use props that are made of glass or any breakable materials.


• We NEVER use props that have any protruding sharp edges.


• If we use a basket, crate, box, etc to place your baby into a scene we always make sure that prop is properly weighted from the bottom and that it is padded, heated up and ready for your little one to safely curl up in.


• We ALWAYS have an assistant that is close by to your newborn at all times.  Your baby is NEVER left alone at any time.  We understand that all newborns have reflexes and that at any time they can lunge unexpectedly.


• Many of our more complex poses actually come from us compositing two or more images together (via photoshop) and creating the final image.  This is so that our assistant can have a supporting hand on your baby's head and body as needed.


• We realize that not every baby likes to curl and tuck in the same way, so we stay tuned to your little ones' comfort level at all time.  We will NEVER force a pose,  we prefer them to be relaxed, warm, cozy and natural.


• We watch their little limbs to make sure that circulation is not compromised for the sake of a pose.


• We keep the studio nice and warm and even pre-heat each set for your little one before they arrive.


• We clean and sanitize everything we use before & after every newborn session.

I encourage all parents to let us know if at any point you feel uncomfortable or concerned about anything during your newborn portrait session.   I  truy want you to love your Newborn Art,  I want your experience here at SP to be a happy and safe environment at all times.

Awesome NEW products at SP {North Texas Portrait Photographer}

Hi SP Friends...

I am always on the look out for unique new items that enable us to produce amazing portrait art for you our clients and OH I have to say that these two are amazing.  These two may not be huge in size, but the artistic look and design of each one paired with your images is sure to make a lasting impression in any room.

Our new 5x7 Gallery Stands are photographically printed on Metallic Paper and then laminated over a solid wood construction and then paired with an easel back.  Each one is delivered complete and ready for display.  I will be custom designing each one that is ordered.  You have endless options with these adorable Gallery Stands, you can match a custom Canvas Wall Gallery or even your custom announcements.  Plus... they work for any event that you are celebrating,  the birth of a baby, the excitement of the grad or the romance of true love.



 

Our second new product is the "Photo Cube"  Each cube is created by 4 custom designs all joined together to create an adorable little cube.  These are 4x4 and are stackable, so you decide just how many you want to use to create your own one of kind photo display in your home.  These adorable little cubes are made out of the same materials as the 5x7 Gallery Stands and are easly cleaned off with a soft damp cloth.   



 

I will have many new samples coming into the studio over the next couple of months, so be sure and check them all out on your next visit in.   In a week and half my Mom (Anna) and I are heading to Imaging USA and I know that I am sure to find a few more amazing ways to display the ones you love in your home and office.  Be sure and check back, I will be doing blog post on Imaging USA towards the end of January.

Little Liam...12 days new {North Texas Newborn Photographer}

Hi SP Friends...

Today I am delighted to share with you Little Liam.  He was just 12 days new when he came into the studio for his very first photo shoot and what a little rock star he was :)  Once little Liam had a full tummy and was fast asleep; he let us dress him up, move him around without a care in the world.  What a fun time we had capturing adorable treasured moments of this little guy.  I love photographing newborns; for this is a moment in time that you can never capture again, they simply grow too fast and their little features begin to change so quickly.

Meet Little Isis {North Texas Newborn Photographer}

Little Isis is just 2.5 months old and this was her very first time having her photos taken professionally.  Her Mom and Grandma were so excited about getting "REAL" photos taken of her; you know the ones you can print and frame and hang up in your house.  Her Grandma shared with me that rignt now all they have are all these iphone photos and she is ready for more :)  I Totally understand as I am addicted to my instagram and my iphone camera when I am on the go, but when it comes to our loved ones... our children/grandchildren we want big prints on the wall. 

When they arrived at the studio, little Isis was in the best mood.  She is absolutely a beautiful baby with the biggest blue eyes you have ever seen.  I mean really she is stunning!  She was fantastic during the photo shoot, loved all the attention and she was perfect with all the clothing and set changes we did too.   She was indeed the star of the show!

Waiting on little Liam {North Texas Portrait Studio}

Isn't Ashley stunning?!!  I love photographing new mommies as they are waiting the arrival of their precious little one, they are full of excitement, expectation and always have a glow about them.



I met Ashley a few months ago at none other than Hobby Lobby.  Yep, I was there buying supplies to create another set for the studio :) and Ashley was there picking up scrapbook supplies and new picture frame, for her sonogram picture  to go on her desk at work.  I was in the checkout line with all my goodies and Ashley was behind me with all her goodies and as fate should have it, we began to chat.   She asked my opinion on the frames as she was having a hard time deciding between two of them and we just got to talking.  After we both checked out, I gave her a business card and told her that I photograph Newborns and would love to photograph her little one, if she was in need of a photographer.   A couple of weeks later Ashley called me and was interested in learning more about our baby plans and decided to book her baby plan with SP!  Yipee!!

I photographed Ashley's maternity session recently here at the studio and I just love the results... She is healthly, happy and overflowing with JOY waiting for sweet little Liam.  Just love that name and I can't wait to meet that little guy.

4 days new

Awww the sweetness of a precious newborn baby... Meet little Hadlyn Grace.  I had the privlage of photographing her sweet little newborn photos here in the studio when she was just 4 days new.  That was fun and such a blessing, I love love love playing with these little ones.  Each one is perfectly created just the way God designed them to be, in His perfection.  I just love capturing all the little features.... tiny little hands, little feet, that sweet little nose and oh yes the eyelashes too. Each and every newborn feature makes each one so very unique and each one is a Gift.

Hadlyn's parents brought her into the studio for her newborn shoot and we had a blast putting together just the right backgrounds, props and of course all the fun little hats, wraps and tutu's.   I love how each and everyone came together and Mom and Dad does too.

Hadlyn was even awake for some of her portraits so we were able to see her beautiful little eyes and oh my she even smiled for us in one of the portraits.  She is simply a beautiful little girl.

The Adored Baby

Oh so sweet! Meet little Prescott

Little Prescott was Born on January 17, 2012 to Aaron & Tiffany.  He weighed 8.4lbs and was 20 1/2" long.  They brought little Prescott into the studio for his newborn session at just 15 days old.  Perfect timing.  I love photographing these sweet little bundles of joy.  They are so precious and each one perfectly created by our creator as a special gift to parents.

When Tiffany arrived at the studio I had her feed little Prescott and wrap him up warmly and once his little tummy was full and he had some cuddle time with mommy, he went right to sleep.  Then without him ever even knowing what was going on the magic begins.  Prescott cuddled right into our warm little sets that were set up just for him and oh the photos that were captured of his little face, hands, feet and tiny little body are just priceless.   One of the special things for me in photographing little Prescott is the fact that I have known his Momma and Daddy for quite some time now and it is so neat to watch them grow in their love for each other and to see their little family expand.  Aaron has been best friends with Brad (my oldest son) for years so it is such a privlage to be able to be apart of this special time in their lives.

Meet little Ms. Breeley

Isn't she just adorable?!!  Amelia and Ron brought Breeley in for her newborn session at just 9 days old.  I often joke with new mommies that they could just stop by on their way home from the hospital - hehe.  I know most mommies are going to wait a few days, LOL, but truly to get these adorable new little features before they begin to untuck and grow this is optimal time.  Within the first 14 days of life is the best time for Newborn Portraits.

The day Breeley came in to the studio we had just had a night of down pouring rain, the drive was flooded and it was a bit cold outside.  But they braved it all and came in and I am delighted that they made it.  We had a fantastic session and Breeley was fabulous.  She loved cuddling into the warm throws (with a nice comfy heating pad under them to keep her cozy and warm) that we had and once she was full and rocked to sleep she was ready to roll.  I had a lot of fun dressing her up and capturing those sweet shots of her little hands, toes, eyes, and lips.  It is amazing how quickly they begin to grow and change so it is such a joy to know that we got these moments in print.   I was just thinking this week as I processed her images, that I sure wish I had photos like this of my two babies who are now 22 and 20.  I do have lots of photos, but this type of portraiture was not big when my kiddos were born.  I am so thankful that I get to do something I love and share that sweet gift with Mom's and Dad's like Amelia and Ron.
