 Ya'll I love this time of year, when I get the opportunity to capture families and the joy they share with each other.  Warms my heart so much!  Of course this family is extra special to me, as this is our Son, daughter in love and our beautiful grand daughters.  

It is always great for families to take the time to have family portraits made, I love the connection we can capture and showcase.  It is always great for children to see the love in their home and I truly believe having photos of them and their family up on the wall and displayed in the home, reminds them of the love they all have for each other.   Portraits are an amazing gift to share with each other.

Denbow Family | Venus Texas Family Photographer

Meet the Denbow Family!  We photographed Maria and Kyle for the first time 7 years ago when they were celebrating their first wedding anniversary.  Since then they have been blessed with Casey and Abby and we have had the honor of photographing their beautiful children and their family through the years; and they have become dear friends!

On the day of our outdoor session; believe it or not we did NOT have rain (If you are not in Texas it has been raining here for about 6 weeks now - more days of rain than not) we actually had a beautiful warm fall day at the park.  The kids had a blast at the park and we had a great time capturing some fun family memories for them.

Meet the Gaither Family | Venus Texas Family Photographer

Oh what a fun, creative and totally unique family photo session we had with the Gaither Family.  I have know Mikol for quite a while; as he is a long time friend of our son Brad.  I was so excited to meet his precious wife Natalie and his little girl Madeline.   I love that they were all about us capturing them just hanging out and having fun at the park and what a perfect winter morning we had for their family session.  Could not have been a better day!

Meet the Southall Family | Venus Texas Family Photographer

Thrilled to be able to introduce you all to the Southall Family.   I love all my awesome clients and friends, but the Southall family has a special place in my heart.  Billy has been a close friend of our son Brad for years (in fact he is pretty much family!) They grew up together and we had the honor of teaching Billy in our church youth group a few years ago.  We have loved getting to know Alex and see them become a family.  We have had the joy of being apart of their wedding day and seeing them add to their family when little Will was born.  It is absolutely a joy to watch a family come together and what an honor I had to be the first one to capture their very first family photos.

This time of year the colors are awesome and the leaves are falling, so we planned out the session to take place in a local park and then to head over to an old train trellis.  Both of these places made the perfect backdrop to capture their sweet family and to showcase their love of each other and music.

Billy loves his music and is a talented musician and plays both the guitar and banjo, so we definitely wanted to include that into the session.  It is so perfect when families bring along items that are important to them and showcase their talents and gifts.

Christmas Mini Sessions | Venus Texas Photographer

I am so excited that FALL is here and the holiday's are right around the corner.  As fast as time seems to go by, it won't be long before you say to yourself.... I wish I had strated earler preparing for Christmas this year.  I know this beacuase I say that just about every year. lol!   Do you realize that Christmas is only 84 more days and ony 12 Friday's until it is here?!!

• 1 - 8x10; 2 - 5x7; & 12 wallets (you can select 4 different poses for your print collection)
• 1 - digital Christmas Card (you can print at any lab of your choice)
• a private online gallery

Then we have two options that you can add onto your mini session...

• a smart phone/tablet app that will feature your gallery of images (our clients love this product.  As you can share it with all your friends & family and social networks)

or

• 25 printed Christmas Cards

The cost... is an all inclusive pricing of $125 +tx (nothing extra; unless you choose once your gallery is posted)

The two add on options are $50 each +tx

Our family at the beach {North Texas Family Photographer}

Well you guys know that we closed the studio a couple of weeks ago for a few days as we headed off to the beach with our family.  We sure enjoyed the R&R time and of course it's always amazing to spend time with family.  I love that we got to enjoy our whole big family together for several days, truly blesses my heart.

Our vacation destination was Port Aransas, Texas and for those of you don't know, that is right across the bay from Ingleside, Texas where my hubby grew up.  It's always fun to go for visit.

This year we enjoyed the beach, eating awesome food, swimming at the hotel, exploring the World Aquarium and the USS Lexington.   We also had a wonderful evening with my Brother & Sister in Law, who still  leave there.  So thankful for the time we shared and memories that were made.  Such a blessing.

Today I thought I would share with you guys a few of my favorite photos from our family photo shoot on the beach.

Meet the Cato Family {North Texas Family Photographer}

We recently had a session with the Cato Family and I am super excited to get to share the highlights of our time together with you guys today.  What a fun bunch this family is.  We had a blast getting to meet all of their amazing kiddos and to enjoy their interaction with each other.  Family is such a special bond and a blessing and it is always so much fun for me to capture.

I have enjoyed getting to know the Cato family over the years and am so honored that they choose me as their photographer over and over again.  Love that and I am delighted to be able to provide them with images that they can cherish for a lifetime.

Meet the Buck Family

Today I am honored to share with you the "Buck Family".  Ryan and his sweet family are new to our church family and Ryan is our Pastor.  We already have enjoyed getting to know them all and absolutely love this sweet family and their love for the Lord and his people.  They truly do have a heart for ministry and caring for others.

I had the opportunity to capture some fun family photos of them all at the Ft. Worth Theological Seminary recently and what a joy it was to watch the interaction of them and their kiddo's.  Such a wonderful bond they have.  The seminary was the perfect place for their family photo session, not only because it is a beautiful campus but also because it holds a very special place in the heart of their family and plays a very integral part in preparing them for ministry.
