Fall Family Session | Venus Texas Family Photographer

 Ya'll I love this time of year, when I get the opportunity to capture families and the joy they share with each other.  Warms my heart so much!  Of course this family is extra special to me, as this is our Son, daughter in love and our beautiful grand daughters.  

It is always great for families to take the time to have family portraits made, I love the connection we can capture and showcase.  It is always great for children to see the love in their home and I truly believe having photos of them and their family up on the wall and displayed in the home, reminds them of the love they all have for each other.   Portraits are an amazing gift to share with each other.

"Summer Nights" is a great time to get outdoors, have some fun as a family and get amazing updated family portraits. The studio has a variety of outside settings. We have an old car (1948 Plymouth), big open field, outdoor lighting, porches, pathways, and a beautiful wooden garage door. The options are endless and we look forward to creating a unique session for your family.


Pricing is: $225 plus tax for your immediate family. $50 due when you book your session. The balance of $175 plus tax is due at your session. You can pay Cash, Check, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express

• 30 minute mini session
• 8 high resolution digital images; with a print release

We are coming to YOU! Grab your family and choose your front porch, back porch or yard for your mini session set.  

These sessions will take place in the evening, so limited time slots each night.  They are a perfect way to capture the beauty of your family in your favorite place... HOME.

Sunset Family Mini Sessions | Venus Texas Family Photographer

Happy Wednesday you guys!  I love the FALL weather that will soon be here!  Can't wait!!  We have an awesome Family Mini Session coming up on October 21, 22 & 23.  It is the "Sunset Family Mini Session"

These sessions will take place here at the studio (well, actually behind the studio) in our pasture that yields amazing sunsets.  This a fun, outdoor session and will take place in the evening just before sunset.  So, with that being said, there are only a few sessions each night.  This mini is limited, so you will want to get signed up right away.  

 The cost of the mini session is all inclusive at $225 plus tax.  

It includes...

• 30 minute session
• 8 high resolution digital images
• print release
• private online gallery
• photo app (with your 8 favorite images)

Hello Summer Family Sessions | Venus Texas Family Photographer

Well school has started (finally) and we are on the last stretch of summer.  So, I thought I would share some family portraits from our Hello Summer Mini Sessions.  These were great fun and what awesome families to work with.  What I loved about our Hello Summer mini sessions is that we went to YOU.  It is great to photograph families where they live.  Everyone is relaxed and enjoying a great summer evening outside.  Although it was still super hot, it was indeed a beautiful evening.

I also love these because we are capturing families, connection and freezing that moment.  This is something that these families will enjoy for years to come.  As life is always changing, we are always growing and what better way to preserve special moments, than with a family portraits.  

I know that I personally love looking back through photos, on my phone, in scrapbooks, photo albums, etc.  Photos/Portaits  always take me right back to the moment and always bring a little story to mind about the people that I love.   So, I know that your photos/portaits can and will do that for you as well.

Here are just a few of my favorites...

These two girls!  I love watching them grow :)  They are cousins and oh so close!  They have a special bond for sure!!

Spring Family Mini Sessions | Venus Texas Family Photographer

Our "Spring Family Mini Session" is scheduled for Saturday April 4, 2020 here at the studio.  The two sets have the look and feel of being outdoors, with no worries of the weather.  Two backgrounds, one amazing set and feel.  One looks like Grandma's Country porch, full of rustic furniture, purple flowers and lots of greenery.  The other set is a set of beautiful barn doors, with hanging vines and white flowers.  

Pricing is:  $225 plus tax for your immediate family.  Want to add a cousin, friend or extended family member (like grandparents) it is $20 per person. 

$50 retainer fee is due when you book and reserve your time slot (see below)

The balance of $175 plus tax is due by the session date.  You can pay Cash, Check, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express

Each session includes...

• 30 minute mini session
• 8 high resolution digital images; with a print release
• a private online gallery (for two weeks)
• a smart phone app with your selected 8 images
• use of our studio sets & props
• fun, laughter and beautiful Spring images

With this mini session you can choose one of the two set designs or you can opt to do both during your allotted time.  

During your mini session we will capture a few poses and interactions with your whole family and then we will photograph parents together, siblings together,  children individually, and children with each parent.

Your digital images will be provided through a secure download.  You will have the option to purchase additional digital images, printed images, albums, canvases and more right within your private gallery.  Be sure and view all of our product options when you are at the studio for your session.

Some helpful tips on dressing for our Mini Session...

You will want to coordinate your families outfits with any of the following colors.  Please stay away from screen printed, logo wear, as this really distracts from portraits.  Spring Colors, Denim, Tan, Cream, White, Green, Mint, Lavender, Purple, Blue, Pink (both light or dark), yellow will look great with these set designs.
