Valentine sessions for Children | Venus Texas Children Photographer

Something new this year are our Quick Take sessions (basically these are micro  mini's)  Some of them throughout the year will be good for families and some for Children.  We will always let you know who they are designed for and what is available for booking.  

Our first Quick Take of 2022 is Valentines and this one is focused on Children.   If they can sit up, they will do well with these two sets.  So age range is sitting up to about 11 years of age.  We have two fun valentine set designs for this session.  Your children will be photographed on both sets and you will have a variety of fun portraits to pick from in your gallery.  These are absolutely perfect to have to share with family, friends and of course to have for upcoming Valentine parties at school.

You can even get a free set of photo stickers with your package, if you sign up now!

Our Valentine "Quick Take" session is coming up on Saturday February 5, 2022 at the studio.  This is a one day event and will be so much fun!   Perfect to have wallet valentine cards for class parties and even photo stickers for treat bags!  

What all is included....

• 20 minute session
• use of all our studio props, (outfits for girls) hats, suspenders, bow ties, etc. for boys
• two fun valentine set designs
• 3 high resolution digital images
• 2 printed images (you choose the size & image)  1 8x10, 2 5x7, 4 4x5 or 8 wallets or you can choose our adorable 3x3 mini book (1)(includes 12 images)
• a photo app with your selected images in it
• online private gallery

What's the cost?   $159+tax

$50 is due at booking & the balance is due the day of the session

Valentine Extravaganza | Venus Texas Children Photographer

 Our first "Couture Kids" event for 2021 is set for Saturday February 6, 2021.  I am super excited to get started with another year of themed Children Portraits.  Be sure and watch for our 2021 line up of events that will be released soon!

Our first one is ready now to sign up for!  It is  our Valentine Extravaganza!

Our set designs are adorable!  Imagine a little street corner with a brick road and one stop is a little bakery bistro and the other is an adorable street cart full of lot's of love.  We will have a variety of props, balloons, sweats, confetti, flowers and more to make for a fun experience they are sure to enjoy!  What a great way to capture them having fun!

You actually get two set designs all in one price!

The all inclusive price is $99 plus tax

 Oh how I love this next Couture Kids event coming up on Saturday September 26, 2020.   Today I am super excited to share images for our Lil' Fishermen set.  This will be available the same day as the Fairy Sessions.  You can  choose which one you want to sign up for!   Both of these are adorable and will make priceless keepsakes for you and your family.

We have a few little outfits here at the studio; like hats, suspenders, bow ties, ruffles for the girls

and more.  But... I do think blue jeans, white shirts, overalls, etc would be precious for this set.

Siblings are welcome, however, remember this is only a 20 min. session and with dressing etc. it will have to be quick to get images of them together and separate.  If you want a little bit longer you can book two sessions and we will book you together to give a little extra time for the session and for changing of cloths.

Bunnies & Chicks 2020 | Venus Texas Children Photographer

Our "Bunnies & Chicks" couture kids event is always such a fun day! Everyone loves Spring time and of course the live Bunny and chicks are always a fun time for the little one's. Our cute little animals are usually placed in a basket or bucket and are available for your little one to pet (should you choose) or you can opt. to just have your little one showcased in our fun Easter themed set. Our set design this year is an adorable Spring Market :) It is full of beautiful color, greenery, and all things Easter. We will have ton's of props available for our set and you are welcome to bring along your child's favorite Easter Basket and dress them in their cutest Easter outfit!

This is a ONE DAY event, with limited spots available. 

Our event is scheduled for Saturday March 28, 2020.

Retainer Fee is $25 to book your time slot and includes...

Love is Sweet | Couture Kids 2020

Our first "Couture Kids" event is coming soon!  It is time to get signed up!!  Our first 2020 event is called "Love is Sweet"; just in time for Valentine Photos.  and  yes you will will your photos in time for valentines day!

Our set design is an adorable street cart filled with all things love and beautiful colors; complete with street post.  Check it out below...

This event will take place on Saturday February 1, 2020.  Once you get signed up, we will call you will contact you to secure your time slot.  We have limited spots available, so sign up soon!

To sign up you can "click here" to pay your $25 retainer fee.  This will secure your time with us.

Then your Couture Kid's Session Package is due by your session.  That fee is $75 and you can pay that online by "clicking here".  You can add a cousin or a friend to your session for just $25 and that can be added right onto your session package.

Your session package includes... 2 high resolution digital images, a print release, your private online gallery for two weeks, and a few prints 1- 8x10 and 2 5x7.    Once you are in your gallery we have all of our Couture Kids products available for purchase, should you need or want more prints or gifts.  You will get to see all of our Couture Kids products on the day of your session in person and ask questions that day.

Lily & Jakob | Venus Texas Children Photographer

Good Morning friends...

I am busy here winding down the end of 2018 and am excited to share several upcoming blog post with session highlights and more.   Today I am thrilled to share this adorable session with two cousins, who are actually more like brother and sister.  I loved so much getting to know them and seeing how much they care for each other.  

Their session was done here at the studio and was in fact their first time having professional portraits made and they did amazing.  What an honor to be able to capture these beautiful children and create portraits they can enjoy in their homes.

Santa Claus came to visit | Venus Texas Newborn Photographer

We had the best time when SANTA came to visit the studio.  We had a small group come by to visit, but we sure had a blast and made some awesome memories for two special little ones.

Our set design this year was Santa's Cocoa Shop and man did it turn out adorable!

Don't you just love it?!!

Before the kiddo's arrived Santa was getting all settled in and checking out his set up for the day...

He had to make sure everything was just right :)

My assistant Anna (and mom) had to get a photo in the set too...

Truly am grateful for all her help here at the studio!! She is an awesome assistant!!

Before the children got to see Santa we took a few minutes to capture some fun Christmas photos for mom and dad.  They are so cute!  Then we had them ring the bell and SANTA came out to visit each one.

 Isn't he just adorable?!  I love his big smile and he really enjoyed Santa Claus!!

 Oh my!  I just love Kinley and her big eyes and oh that outfit!! So cute!!

 Kinley was super happy and having a good ole' time having her photos made, but when SANTA entered the scene, she was not too happy lol.  She was trying to make a quick getaway!  Such an awesome memory of her first visit with SANTA.

All better now that the guy in red is gone lol :)  Oh!  and Kinley loved the marsh mellows too :)

Thank you both for bringing your little ones to visit SANTA and for allowing us to capture memories of their first Christmas!  Such a huge honor!!

Daddy & Me {North Texas Children Photographer}

Happy Friday Friends!!  I am so happy to share with you a few highlights from a recent Daddy & Me session with the Cato Family.  The Cato family has have into the studio before for our Daddy & Me sessions (the first one little K was around 3 months old)  It is so neat to see the bond between these two and to see how she has grown.  I have truly enjoyed getting to know them over the  years and look forward to continuing to capture their sweet family.

Here are few of our favorite highlights...

The storybook in the bottom right photo is one that has a recoding of Mom reading their special story book.   Love adding special touches from a family into photo sessions.  Priceless!

 Isn't she a cutest thing?!!  Love her smile and little personality!

 She loves her daddy!!

Love Love Love this photo!  She is wearing daddy's military boots along with his dog tags.

So thankful for the Men and Women who serve our Country and the families who sacrifice so much, for our freedom. 

Thank you Cato Family for allowing me to celebrate Father's Day with you and capture this awesome bond between K and her Daddy.  Hope you enjoy these for years and years to come.  Such sweet moments!
