Aleigha Turns ONE | Venus Texas Newborn Photographer

Oh my goodness!  Aleigha has gotten so big this year and is already turning ONE.  We had a blast photographing her Cake Smash here at the studio.   Mom chose to do Pink & White as primary colors and soft florals along with the cute naked cake.  Love how it all came together and matched all of her outfits!

Aleigha was not too sure about actually eating her cake but we had fun trying to get her to taste it.  She has the cutest little expressions and funny way of telling you no, I think I will pass on that. lol!  I adore her big eyes and how awesome they show up in her portraits.

Aleigha is one of our Baby Planners who is graduating from the program and it truly has been a joy to watch her grow this year.  She has learned to walk and it totally on the move and sitting up very very well on her own.

The cake is from Lovin' Oven; in Lancaster.  They always do such an amazing job!

and well we have to have one crying photo!  She was not too sure about this splash thing after the cake smash!  But with a little play time, she decided it was ok :)

Liliana turns One | Venus Texas Newborn Photographer

Oh my goodness you guys!  I just love how Liliana's cake smash set came together.  Her set is a combination of Mom's party stuff and props we have here at the studio and together we designed a beautiful ONEderland set.   Love the pinks, gray and white and all the sparkle.

Liliana was not super fond of the studio lights, but you guys I love her big beautiful eyes and her hair.   I  had a great time playing with her and I did manage to capture some adorable expressions.  It is ok too that we have some of the cutest crying photos.  It is her party, so she can cry if she want's too lol.

Oh! and I added in a Splash time at the end of this session (something new coming to our Cake Smash sessions) and that was indeed Liliana's favorite part, beside the icing.  She loved tasting icing for the first time.

We use Lovin' Oven in Lancaster for all of our cakes and they are always so yummy and beautiful!

Lucy Joy turns ONE | Venus Texas Newborn Photographer

OH my goodness what a cutie Lucy Joy is.  She is all smiles and has been a joy to have in our Baby Plan this past year.   Lucy had so much fun at her cake smash session and I love how her set turned out.  Her cake smash theme is:  Lil' Pumpkin.  Lucy's Mom and I had a great time planning her set and putting the final touches on it.

Isn't she the cutest?!!  Love how the flowers, bright colors and pumpkins all came together!  and most of all I love all of Lucy's big smiles!  To say she enjoyed her cake is an understatement lol!
