Today I am excited to share a session highlight of Nick and his awesome Senior Photo Shoot. I met up with Nick and his Mom Amy this past Friday in the Fort Worth Stockyards and we headed out on our Journey. I was super excited to see all the locations that Amy had already picked out for me to work with, and she did not disappoint at all. She had some amazingly cool places picked out for pictures and I had a blast working with Nick, watching his creativity come to life throughout the shoot and adding in my ideas along the way too. I think we made a pretty good team. My daughter Sarah also joined in the fun, I love when she is home from college, she makes a fantastic assistant with my off camera flash equipement and reflectors plus, she is just fun to have around.
When Amy called to book Nick's photo shoot, I was so thrilled and not just becuase I was being hired to do what I love, but because of our friendship. It is simply a honor and a joy to be invited to be apart of this special time in their family. You see Amy was one of my dearest closest friends all through high school and was my brides maid at my wedding 25 years ago. Oh the precious memories that we have together as friends. I am sad to say that through the busyness of life we did loose touch for many years but, thank goodness we have gotten the opportunity to reconnect and I have truly loved catching up with her. So yes, it is truly a joy and privalage to have the opportunity to share a little highlight from our time together.
